Claire’s had filed for bankruptcy

American jewellery company Clarie’s filed for bankruptcy. During the bankruptcy process, which is likely to last until September 2018, the company will continue to sell in the United States. At the same time, it was informed that Clarie’s had entered into an agreement with its creditors. The statement on Monday indicated that it would reduce its debt by USD 1.9 billion. At the end of 2017, the company owed $2.1 billion.
