Astaldi with creditor protection
The Italian company Astaldi received creditor protection under Italian bankruptcy/arrangement law. The company, which carried out many infrastructural investments in Poland, had already had financial problems for some time.
The company performed work in connection with the modernization of railway line no. 7, on the Lublin-Dęblin and E59 sections, on the Leszno-Rawicz section. In addition, Astaldi is responsible for the execution of road investment projects for the S7 and S2 routes.
The sub-contractors state that the Italian company has been in arrears with payments since May to 150 sub-contractors.
