More and more bankruptcies of entrepreneurs
The Export Credit Insurance Corporation has reported that the number of announced bankruptcies is increasing for another month in a row and has now reached its highest level since mid-2018. At the same time, the Export Credit Insurance Corporation indicated that the largest number of bankruptcies was declared against entrepreneurs from the mining, energy and pharmaceutical sectors.
According to the Export Credit Insurance Corporation’s communiqué, instead of companies, bankruptcy is more and more often declared by people running business activity.
According to the data available to the Export Credit Insurance Corporation, the number of bankruptcies declared in January 2019 (64) increased by 14.3%, compared to the previous year. On the other hand, the number of open restructurings (30) decreased by 16.7% compared to January 2018.
