Another travel agency declared bankruptcy
After 20 years of activity, Krakow travel agency Olimp on Thursday informed about the announcement of bankruptcy of the company. Scheduled trips have been cancelled and customers are to receive a refund of the paid money.
The travel agency informed about the situation on its website. The owners of the company indicated in a statement that the decision to submit an application was related to the declining turnover of the company and decreasing sales of trips. In addition, the travel agency conducted negotiations until the last minute. Unfortunately, the attempts to renew the loan or to attract an investor were unsuccessful. There was also no entity interested in purchasing the company.
Customers currently staying abroad are provided with services so that they can finish their holidays and return to their home country.
Currently, a procedure is being launched (in accordance with Article 5 of the Act on tourist services) to help clients to obtain a refund of all paid funds.
