Further increase in the number of declared bankruptcies

The number of declared bankruptcies of entrepreneurs in March 2019 amounted to 53. This is 13 percentage points more than in February 2019 and 14.5 percentage points less than in the same period last year.

In comparison with March 2018, the number of bankruptcies decreased, among others, in the production of electrical equipment, production of motor vehicles and their parts, as well as production of chemicals and chemical products. The largest increase in the number of bankruptcies occurred in pharmacy and medicines, furniture production, production and supply of energy and gas.

Among the declared bankruptcies, 45 entities are commercial law companies.
