Examination of the bankruptcy petition Ursus withheld

The District Court in Lublin suspended the examination of the motion of PKO BP S.A. for bankruptcy of Ursus due to the lack of a legally binding decision on discontinuance of restructuring proceedings.

The Bank’s actions are a continuation of the debt collection activities undertaken so far. In March 2019, PKO BP S.A. initiated enforcement proceedings, during which the judicial officer seized the Company’s assets. However, at the request of the Debtor, the Judge-Commissioner suspended the enforcement proceedings.

Ursus fights for its survival waiting for the resolution of the complaint against the decision to discontinue the proceedings. According to the regulations, the Court will not consider the motion of PKO BP S.A. to declare bankruptcy of Ursus until the complaint against the decision to discontinue the proceedings is considered.

The restructuring in the Company has been in progress since the end of 2018.
