Retirees are the most indebted group among those declaring consumer bankruptcy

Retirees have the highest amounts of debt to creditors, according to the data showing the first half of 2020 among consumer bankruptcies.

According to the National Debt Register (KRD), among people who declared bankruptcy in the first half of this year, the highest amount of debt, i.e. more than PLN 36 million, is recorded for people between 56 and 65 years old. Another 18 million PLN are debts of consumers over 65 years old.
