Takeover of Ruch by PKN Orlen
The takeover of the main Polish press distributor will be finalized later this year.
The courts approved the arrangement proceedings of Ruch with creditors. This opens the way for the finalization of the takeover of the company, which has been taking place since 2018.
Under the arrangements so far, PKN Orlen will be the majority shareholder with a 65% stake. The other shareholders will be: PZU and PZU Życie and Alior Bank.
It was planned that the restructuring of Ruch will be aimed at the development of the company towards modern FMCG sales and the development of courier services.
