Breakdown in bus transport

The coronavirus pandemic has hit bus carriers hard.

The problems are indicated by both large companies that provide long-distance routes and smaller carriers operating out-of-town bus transport.

Regardless of the size of the company, the problem of this industry comes down to a decrease in the number of passengers. This is the result of the introduction of restrictions limiting the number of people who can use the means of transport at one time and the concerns of potential passengers about the increased risk of contracting a virus in transport.

Carriers demand support consisting in subsidies to coaches, deferment of lease payments, parking payments and further exemption from social security contributions.
