Airports in crisis
The coronavirus pandemic is taking its toll on the aviation industry. Individual Polish airports systematically record a decrease in the number of passengers. This translates into the need to trim the connection mesh.
The European airport association (Airports Council International Europe) predicts that 200 European airports may go bankrupt.
Representatives of the Association of Regional Airports hope for the government to develop a several-year support program. Otherwise, some airports will most likely be sold and some ports converted.
