Less bankruptcy

Less bankruptcy

Last month, 44 companies went bankrupt. Thus, more companies declared bankruptcy than in September, but under the present circumstances, a much higher percentage of declared bankruptcies was forecast.

According to experts, several factors may contribute to the low number of filed bankruptcies. Firstly, entrepreneurs try to reach an agreement with creditors. Secondly, the aid offered under the anti-crisis shields made it possible to dismiss the specter of business closures. Thirdly, along with the decision to use the anti-crisis shields, entrepreneurs undertook to continue their activities for a specified period of time.

In total, 564 companies went bankrupt from January to October.
