Problems of tourist guides
Not all tour pilots and tourist guides, usually running a sole proprietorship, meet the criteria for applying for support offered under the trade shield.
The right to apply for support is granted to guides running seasonal activities who prove that during the three holiday months they suffered losses of at least 75% compared to the previous year. As the guides indicate, meeting both of these criteria seems difficult. This is due to the fact that the guides usually operate all year round and during the past holiday season, along with the frostbite of the economy, they tried to make up for the spring losses.
