Restructuring of Huta Pokój
The creditors of Huta Pokój, operating for 180 years and located in Ruda Śląska, after many months of negotiations, signed a package of agreements restructuring almost 200 ml of the steelworks debt.
The agreement was concluded by Katowicki Węlokoks and Bank PKO BP. Pursuant to the arrangements, Huta Pokój Profile, a subsidiary of Huta Pokój Profile, established in August last year, became a part of the Węglokoks Capital Group. It was also agreed that the remaining debt would be repaid to creditors within a few years.
The restructuring is to stabilize the situation of Huta Pokoj and by transferring new companies to Węglokoks, namely Huta Pok Konstrukcje, it is to gradually consolidate the metallurgical acts by the Węglokoks Group.
