Bankruptcy of the Strzeliński Medical Center

The hospital was struggling with increasing financial problems, which in June 2020 led to the need to declare bankruptcy.

Since 2008, the Medical Center in Strzelin operated as a non-public health care facility. It was the only facility providing medical services to the inhabitants of the county. The hospital’s financial problems have started to worsen for several years and already in 2015 the decision to declare bankruptcy was considered. However, such a decision was made only in June this year. In October, the medical facility was put up for sale. The University Clinical Hospital in Wrocław decided to buy it. Thanks to this, the facility will be able to continue its operations.
