The Polish Hockey Federation is in debt
The debt of the Polish Hockey Association (PZH) amounts to PLN 20 million.
The PZH creditors include, for example, the Ministry of Sport, hotels, equipment suppliers and many other, smaller, service providers.
According to the president of the Polish National Institute of Hygiene, restructuring may take up to a decade. It seems, however, that this is the right solution, as a declaration of bankruptcy would mean that Polish players would be excluded from all structures and would not be able to participate in any competitions.
