Czech airlines have filed for bankruptcy

The national Czech carrier has decided to end its operations.

One of the oldest airlines in the world – Ceske Aerolinie (CSA) has filed for bankruptcy. The coronavirus pandemic, which forced planes to ground and cancel connections last year, contributed to this. As a result, the Czech carrier recorded numerous losses, and its debts amounted to EUR 70 million.

The Czech carrier is not the only company on which the pandemic has left its mark. So far, we have written several times about problems affecting the aviation industry and Polish airlines.
