Netia’s shares are systematically purchased
Over the next year, Netia’s shares will be systematically bought.
The Cyfrowy Polsat Group, which has already held a majority stake of 66% of shares, has committed itself to purchasing Netia shares. Cyfrowy Polsat announced that it will buy shares for the next twelve months. It was declared that the amount of PLN 515 million will be allocated for this purpose.
Systematic acquisition of individual shares is motivated by a legal dispute between members of Netia’s management board and the owners of the remaining shares.
It is worth recalling that Netia is one of the largest Polish telecommunications operators that provides television, fixed-line and mobile internet services.
