The successful restructuring of Gent Holding is questionable

The successful restructuring of Gent Holding companies raises a number of doubts.

At the turn of the year, nine companies from the Gent Holding Group announced the launch of a simplified restructuring procedure. According to the regulations, the time to complete this type of restructuring is four months. This time is almost over. Therefore, the Group’s management organized a meeting with creditors, which should result in an agreement. However, the concept presented by the president of the companies differs significantly from the previous arrangements, about which the restructuring advisor informed. These discrepancies concern, inter alia, the amount of debt, the restructuring plan and the period for implementing the plan.
