Continuation of employment restructuring
The continuation of employment restructuring in the Tesco store chain was announced.
Along with the takeover of the Tesco grocery chain by the Salling Group – the Danish concern that manages the Netto supermarket chain – several actions have been announced. First of all, it was necessary to rebrand Tesco to Netto, liquidation of some stores and the resulting dismissal of approx. 1,200 employees employed in these outlets. Now it has been announced that the group employment restructuring will also affect the distribution department and will cover approximately 200 people. The implementation of these plans has been spread over time and will take several months.
