Restructuring of the Carrefour chain of stores
Actions are taken to restructure the Carrefour store network.
In June, we informed about the intentions of the owner of the French chain of Carrefour stores to sell their stores located in Taiwan. At that time, this information had not yet been confirmed. At present, however, activities are already underway to carry out this transaction. The liquidation of stores located in Poland, Italy and Argentina is also being considered. Especially in the last two places, sales are not as expected, so taking remedial steps seems justified.
