Restructuring is on the rise
The Coface report shows that the popularity of restructuring is growing among Polish companies.
Data prepared on the basis of court ruling dates show that there has been a large increase in open restructuring proceedings in Poland. Recently, the simplified restructuring procedures that have appeared in the Polish legal system since June 2020 have been the most popular.
The new form of declaring insolvency was used by 1000% more enterprises than a year ago.
According to experts, if no new restrictions or restrictions appear along with the new wave, the number of simplified restructuring proceedings opened will decrease. However, they do not envisage a change in the numbers of traditional forms of restructuring and bankruptcy as there is a risk that companies without prior support may not survive in the market.
