The Polish gaming market is rising
According to the report “The Game Industry of Poland 2021”, the revenues of the Polish gaming industry in 2020 amounted to as much as EUR 969 million.
In 2020, over 600 games by Polish developers premiered in Poland. Moreover, it has been observed that the number of game producers and publishers in the market is growing. The authors of the report explain that revenues in the industry increased primarily due to the release of Cyberpunk 2077.
In 2020, it was also possible to achieve a state of greater export than import on the Polish game market. This means that Polish entrepreneurs achieved higher revenues from the sale of games abroad than foreign entrepreneurs from the sale of games on the Polish market.
