Laktopol is withdrawing from the lease of the Bielmlek dairy cooperative.

From July 2021, Dairy Works Laktopol-Polindus leased the Bielmlek cooperative, which has been struggling with numerous problems for some time. The Laktopol plant even expressed a desire to buy Bielmlek, but their representatives announced that they wanted to withdraw from the existing lease.

What awaits the Bielmlek cooperatives now?

It is worth recalling that the case of farmers-shareholders of cooperatives and farmers who supplied milk but did not receive remuneration for it is still pending. They were promised government support, which we wrote about here.
