New developer law – new instruments to protect buyers in bankruptcy proceedings

On July 1, 2022, the Law of May 20, 2021 on the Protection of the Rights of the Purchaser of a Dwelling or Single-Family House and the Developer’s Guarantee Fund (the “Development Law”) entered into force. The new legislation is intended to provide greater protection for buyers, with the Developer Guarantee Fund expected to play a key role.
