Merger in the legal market

Law firms Rymarz Zdort and Maruta Wachta are merging. The result will be one of the largest law firms in Poland.

Law firms Rymarz Zdort and Maruta Wachta will merge. The new entity will operate under the Rymarz Zdort Maruta brand. It will be the fifth largest law firm in Poland. Total employment will be 250 people. The law firm is to operate under a model of equal partnership within a single group. The merger will take place without any exchange of shares or payment to either party. It is expected to start operating from January 2023. The goal of the merger is to gain a full range of legal services for every industry and every type of business transaction in one company.

Rymarz Zdort law firm specializes mainly in handling mergers and acquisitions, private equity, capital markets, banking and finance, energy, infrastructure, real estate. Maruta Wachta, on the other hand, handles the new technology, IT, gaming and public procurement sectors. It also handles data protection, cyber security and artificial intelligence issues.
