The risk of infection has been eliminated

The risk of contagion was eliminated after the effective restructuring of Getin Noble Bank.

The aforementioned risk of infection resulted from the weakness of the financial institution, which was Getin Noble Bank. In the opinion of the Bank Guarantee Fund (BFG), Getin Noble Bank was a major burden for the stability of the banking sector. Its anticipated collapse could negatively affect other financial institutions, which would have to bear the costs of this collapse. Thus, it was possible to eliminate the threats related to the potential spread of weaknesses of the financial institution.

It is worth recalling that the forced restructuring procedure against Getin Noble Bank was initiated in September last year (we wrote about it here).
