Restructuring of the MAN concern
MAN Truck and Bus in Starachowice is undergoing restructuring.
Last year, bus sales fell by almost half compared to the previous year. This prompted the representatives of MAN Truck and Bus to decide on the need to restructure. As part of the planned corrective actions, it was decided to reduce employment. This decision will affect 860 existing employees. The representatives of the company reached an agreement with the trade unions. It was negotiated that the dismissed employees would be given the opportunity to take up employment in other companies belonging to the MAN Group (it is worth recalling that four companies of this Group are located in Poland) or in other neighboring enterprises. Following this, employees will receive severance pay and relocation bonuses.
