It’s going to be a difficult year

It’s going to be a tough year for entrepreneurs.

The results of the cyclical survey “Scanner for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises” are not optimistic. Nearly 50% of respondents report that the existing conditions for running a business have deteriorated. Most of them represent the construction and trade sector. The greatest concerns are generated by the growing costs of running a business, e.g. an increase in electricity prices, an increase in contributions paid to the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) and an increase in the minimum wage. What’s more, the dynamically changing economic situation forces you to make equally dynamic decisions and change your plans. The chosen plans related to the development of companies give way to the will to survive, because many entrepreneurs clearly declare that they are afraid of losing financial liquidity leading to bankruptcy. However, they do not rule out that it may be necessary to take radical steps, such as liquidation or suspension of business, or even bankruptcy. Only 8% of entrepreneurs expect the current situation to improve. Producers dominate among them.
