Krakowski Kredens sold

The tender competition for the purchase of Krakowski Kredens has been resolved.

In the early 90s of the last century, a retail enterprise called Alma Market was established. The aforementioned chain of grocery stores enjoyed growing popularity, constantly striving for further development. The result was the creation of its own brand – Krakowski Kredens, where you could buy premium groceries. Over time, however, the Alma Market company began to face financial problems, which in November 2016 led to the opening of sanation proceedings. Eventually, however, a year later, the company was declared bankrupt. Despite this, Krakowski Kredens continued to function. This was the case until June 2021, when its bankruptcy was announced. However, only now, i.e. in January 2023, a competition for tenders for the purchase of a delicatessen chain was organized. Although it was valued at PLN 2.9 million. it was the Scapremium company, associated with the French chain of grocery and industrial supermarkets – E. Lecler, that offered the amount of PLN 3.9 million. and thus acquired the rights to the brand.
