Bankruptcy of a poultry plant
Rzeszowskie Zakłady Drobiarskie “Res-Drob” in bankruptcy.
After nearly 70 years, Rzeszowskie Zakłady Drobiarskie “Res-Drob” will cease to function. All this is due to the decision of the Rzeszów district court on the bankruptcy of the company issued at the beginning of February this year.
Just a few years ago, 120,000 animals were slaughtered in the plant. chickens per day, of which as much as 80% of production was exported to Western and Asian countries. Over time, however, production decreased and debt increased. It is currently estimated at PLN 180 million.
