Food market failure

Food market failure

The owner of Pora na Pora filed for bankruptcy.

The online food market “Pora na Pola” combined the interests of two parties, namely people interested in buying healthy and natural food and producers (tested farmers) ready to provide such products. Through the market, each customer could order natural products directly from various producers and expect them to be delivered in one shipment.

Now, after nearly five years of operation, the market is closing. This is the result of problems with maintaining financial liquidity. It is worth adding that the financing of the company was based on the crowdfunding principle. And although the products offered had their recipients, and representatives of the market informed about large-scale development plans, the attempt to attract investors willing to recapitalize the company failed. A few days ago, its founder announced that he had filed for bankruptcy.

It is worth recalling that this is not the only store offering organic food that is facing financial problems. They also affected Organic Farma Zdrowia, which recently reported the positive effects of the measures taken.
