Back to normal
The hotel industry is recording an increase in revenues.
The owners of accommodation facilities announce a return to normality known before the coronavirus pandemic. Concerns about a further decline in interest in traveling, which appeared with the pandemic and were maintained after the outbreak of war in Ukraine, are disappearing. This is due to the systematic increase in the number of Polish and foreign tourists using their services. The consequence of this is an increase in revenue. However, hoteliers forecast that profits will be lower by approx. 20% compared to last year. This is the result of a general increase in business prices. However, they indicate that they do not want and cannot raise their prices. They argue that there is a lot of competition and a change in the pre-pandemic habits of tourists. They notice that guests used to book accommodation months in advance, and now they do it just a few days before arrival.
