The acquisition of the Graal Group by the Lisner company has become a fact.
The first information about the conclusion of a preliminary agreement between the German food company Lisner and the Polish leader in canned fish – the Graal Group appeared in February 2023. In accordance with the procedures, both companies submitted the appropriate documents to the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK). In September 2024, they received a positive opinion from the UOKiK. In turn, a dozen or so days ago, representatives of the Linser company announced that after almost two years, the transaction had been finalized. In this way, the German giant took over the Graal Group’s business segment covering the production and sale of canned fish, ready meals and marinades.
