The number of bankruptcies continues to grow

According to a report published by Euler Hermes, the number of declared bankruptcies in February 2019 amounted to 87 entrepreneurs. The biggest increase in bankruptcies was in the commercial and services sectors.

According to the data presented in the report, the number of insolvencies has already increased by 17% since the beginning of 2019. The increase in bankruptcy in February 2019 was influenced by problems in the trade and services industry. The main reason for insolvency is the fall in profitability.

Attention should also be paid to the over 60% increase in the number of insolvencies of joint-stock companies and activities conducted by natural persons.
