Bankruptcy of ISD Huta Częstochowa
On 4 September 2019 The District Court in Częstochowa declared ISD Huta Częstochowa bankrupt. At the same time, the Court dismissed the motion to approve the conditions of sale, considering that in the course of bankruptcy proceedings it will be possible to obtain higher proceeds to the bankruptcy estate than as a result of the sale of the company under the so-called pre-pack. The current temporary court supervisor has been appointed as the receiver.
The receiver was obliged to immediately prepare an update of the valuation of the assets of ISD Huta Częstochowa and undertake actions aimed at selling the enterprise.
Until the sale of the enterprise, it will most probably be leased out. So far, 2 entities have presented their offers, and the judge-commissioner appointed a hearing to listen to potential offers on 9 September 2019.
