Increasing interest in restructuring
The number of entrepreneurs deciding to restructure their business activity is increasing significantly.
According to the report of the consulting company MGW Corporate Consulting Group, 188 restructuring proceedings were opened in the third quarter of this year. This is nearly 45% more than last year at the same time and almost 90% more than in the second quarter of this year.
Most often, entrepreneurs choose a new restructuring mode, namely simplified restructuring proceedings.
Restructuring is most often taken by companies operating in the following sectors: agriculture, industrial processing and wholesale.
Out of all open restructuring proceedings, as many as 63% end in discontinuance. This is due to the fact that companies very often delay making decisions on restructuring. They decide to do it when the financial situation is already very difficult.
