Yesterday, the Financial Shield 2.0 supervised by the Polish Development Fund was adopted.

At the end of December, the European Commission issued a permit to launch financial aid under the next Financial Shield. This allowed the Polish government to submit this document for deliberation. As a result, a resolution was adopted yesterday, on the basis of which, from mid-January to the end of March, micro, small and medium-sized enterprises will be able to apply for financial aid.

Support is to be provided to companies from 40 industries, including: retail sales of clothing, food and beverages, hotel industry, catering, gyms, cinemas. The aid received is to contribute to maintaining liquidity and financial stability.

The value of the program is estimated at PLN 13 billion.
