Restructuring of the Heineken Group

The head of the Heineken Group announced the restructuring of the concern.

The effects of the coronavirus pandemic, in the form of limiting the functioning of gastronomy, are felt by the Dutch brewing company – Heineken.

This prompted the management of the concern to make a decision to restructure. As part of the remedial actions, the following was planned: modification of the organizational structure, reduction of the product portfolio and reduction of jobs consisting in laying off approx. 8,000 employees.

At the moment, it is not known whether the restructuring will cover Grupa Żywiec belonging to the Heineken Group.
