Continuation of the bankruptcy of the Bielmlek cooperative.
The declaration of bankruptcy of the cooperative took place in early March. At that time, the receiver reported problems with the lack of funds in the bankruptcy estate. In response, the administrative court called on creditors to pay advances to cover the costs related to the bankruptcy proceedings.
Farmers were in the most difficult position. Some of them are shareholders of cooperatives to whom letters have been sent regarding the repayment of the cooperative’s debt. The rest are Bielmlek’s creditors, who are demanding payment of the arrears.
