Fair without help

The exhibition industry has still not received support.

A few weeks ago, the rulers informed about the intention to extend the sector shield to other sectors of the economy that were strongly affected by the next lockdown. A dozen or so days ago, information was provided about the implementation of these announcements by authorizing subsequent industries to submit applications for financial support (we wrote about it here). The existing catalog of sectors was extended by another 17, but the exhibition industry was not among them.

Representatives of the exhibition industry point out that the existing support obtained from financial shields or self-organized financial resources have run out. They emphasize that they were originally assured that they would be assisted. So they do not hide that they are disappointed. They indicate that they remain closed for 14 months, and according to estimates, their loss amounts to nearly PLN 2 billion.
