Small Planet Airlines Germany has requested restructuring

The air carrier of the Lithuanian Small Planet group has applied for restructuring with the possibility of continuing operations.

The financial problems of the Company result from the attempt to take advantage of the gap after Air Berlin and the decision to enlarge the Company. Due to the development of its operations, the Company ordered aircraft whose delivery was delayed. In addition, Small Planet Germany had problems with the completion of flight crews. In the meantime, technical problems have arisen which have led to irregularity in the provision of services and increased operating costs.

The restructuring of the Company will be carried out on the basis of German law.
