Pros of forced restructuring of PBS in Sanok
The forced restructuring of PBS in Sanok brought more benefits than losses.
The first forced restructuring of the bank was carried out in January 2020 by the Bank Guarantee Fund (BFG). Polski Bank Spółdzielczy (PBS) in Sanok was subject to this operation. The bank challenged the BFG’s decision and appealed to the Provincial Administrative Court in Warsaw. The court confirmed the validity of the BFG’s decision. It is also confirmed by all estimates. According to them, the threat of the collapse of PBS in Sanok was real, and the collapse would entail losses of millions.
