Energopol Szczecin S.A. still suspended

It is possible that the restructuring court will take decisions on restructuring of Energopol Szczecin S.A. in October 2019. The company filed for bankruptcy at the beginning of July 2019. Subsequently, in August 2019, it filed for restructuring.

It is important for the Company that the Court considers the motion to open the restructuring as soon as possible, as it is responsible for the execution of multi-million contracts, including the construction of the Kijewo Junction and the Warzymic and Przecław ring roads.

The spokesman for the Regional Court in Szczecin explains that the application for the opening of restructuring was submitted at the beginning of August 2019 and only on 24 September 2019. Energopol Szczecin S.A. filled in the gaps in the application. On 27 September 2019, the Court, after remedying the deficiencies, set a deadline to hear the members of the Management Board. At the same time, the Regional Court Spokesman indicated that after hearing and reviewing the documentation in the case file, the Court should issue a ruling on the case within 7 to 20 days.
