Companies are disappearing from the market
More and more entrepreneurs are deciding to close or suspend their businesses.
The owner of a Rzeszow burger shop reported that he received an electricity bill that is four times higher than usual. It is no longer several thousand zlotys, but 21 thousand zlotys. Because of this, the company has decided to say goodbye to its customers and close its business.
There are more companies that energy costs will force to close their business. Accounting offices, where entrepreneurs settle accounts, see the crisis coming. Julia Dybkowska, vice president of the Foundation for the Support and Development of Accounting Offices and owner of the Clever Tax accounting office, admits that many entrepreneurs today are considering closing or suspending their businesses.
Adam Abramowicz, spokesman for small and medium-sized enterprises, calculates that more than 200,000 companies have recently closed or suspended operations.
