Marvit for sale
The popular company Marwit, representing the fruit and vegetable industry, has been put up for sale.
In the 90s of the last century, the Marwit company was established, which produces one-day-old juices, which quickly became its trademark. However, the company did not stop there. It systematically expanded its range. In addition to one-day juices, it also offered salads, salads and soups. This was the task of Marwit Foods. However, it needed an investor to implement further development plans. Not finding him coincided with mounting financial problems. As a result, remedial proceedings were initiated against the company in mid-2020. Production was suspended and the search for and talks with potential investors was resumed. The lack of a positive result in this matter led to the company being declared bankrupt in 2021. According to estimates, the debt of Marwit is PLN 97 million, and that of Martwi Foods is PLN 86 million.
At the beginning of February 2023, the court allowed the sale of the entire enterprise. So far, 10 potential buyers have come forward.
