Financial Shield 2.0 expansion

The government decided to extend the assistance offered under the PFR 2.0 Financial Shield.

Financial Shield 2.0 supervised by the Polish Development Fund (PFR) has been extended to other industries, including wholesale of clothing and footwear, retail sale of footwear and leather goods, laundries and cleaning of textiles and fur, language learning, activities of sports clubs, production and distribution of films and videos.

The purpose of the Shield expansion is to provide support to micro, small and medium-sized enterprises that have problems with maintaining financial liquidity. The granted subsidy may turn out to be non-returnable, provided that the company will continue its operations and maintain the level of employment.

It is estimated that the value of the aid will amount to PLN 750 million.

It is worth recalling that from Monday, February 1, the Anti-Crisis Shield 7.0 applies, which covered more industries in need of support.
