Less new companies
The number of registered new companies is falling.
In the past seven months of 2021, 210,000 companies were created. Compared to last year, this justifies the claim that the number of registered new economic activities is falling. At the same time, there is an increase in the number of liquidated and suspended enterprises. These data contradict the trends observed in the first few months of this year.
When looking for the reasons for this, experts point to the uncertainty of the economic situation, which prompts entrepreneurs to be very cautious.
It is worth noting that the construction sector is among the industries in which the number of established and suspended companies is growing at the same time. On the other hand, decisions on liquidation are most often made among entrepreneurs operating in the retail sector.
